The Signs through the Houses series, is the result of the type of brainstorming that I do. Basically, I combine the key words, concepts, and phrases associated with the signs and houses to create lists of possibilities of the ways that they will manifest. Sue Tompkins briefly mentions this method in her book Aspects in Astrology: A Guide to Understanding Planetary Relationships in the Horoscope.
This method opens my mind and gets me to see beyond standard, limited, possibilities presented by most books and websites. No single person is likely to embody the entire list of possibilities for their sign and house combination. Which traits will apply to each person still depends on aspects to the ruler of the house and other configurations in the natal chart like the placement of the Sun and Moon. Anyone can try this method- it’s helpful for making new associations from traditional concepts.
Some of the descriptions will work for the sign ruler as well as the sign.
“Aries through the Houses” can also work for Mars through the houses.
“Aquarius through the Houses” can also work for Uranus through the houses.
However, signs and their planetary rulers are not exactly the same.
These lists are not meant to be exhaustive. There are plenty of associations that I didn’t include.
