Personal retrograde Mercury in Virgo epiphany
It’s only a good time to redo things that you already know how to do but didn’t do right the first time.
It is not a good time to “redo” things using technology or methods that you’ve never tried before.
- Do your planets make a connection with Mercury in Virgo?
- Where is Virgo in your chart?
- Are you feeling the effects of the retrograde?

Virgo straddles my 8th & 9th houses, Its about to step back into my 8th house where it will stay for the majority of the retrograde, its currently squaring my Venus/Uranus conjunction in Sag and opposing my Pisces Moon in the 3rd. I think its caused a resurgence for feelings for that Virgo fella who lights up my 8th house very strongly (Today is his Birthday actually) I’ve been on the fence with him for about 2 weeks and didnt want to see him because I was feeling so apathetic and generally ick towards him and now its like cupid has shot me again. I’m beginning to think that this is bringing up power issues for me concerning men and relationships (Mercury rules my DC along side my Moon) as the old saying goes ” The one who cares the least has the most power.” The less I care, the more I feel in control of my feelings…the more I care the more “desperate” for attention I feel. Ugh, I hate this. I’m not sure how to solve this.
Do you often think about the power balance in your relationships? It probably is a good time to reevaluate the need to have power, or give power, in a relationship. Your quote is similar to the one that says something like, ” There is the one that loves and the one who is loved.” That really sucks and I fight it tooth and nail.
It could be that the job just transforms into something completely different than what it started as, especially with Mercury in your 8th house and Virgo’s emphasis on work.
Thanks! It’s a tenuous hold at best
Five planets in Virgo, can’t stop tinkering with sh*t.
Thank you for reading Marinadear!
My sun and mercury are in virgo in the 7th house, and up until the end I swear I felt that the bulleted list was actually the opposite of what I need to do, aside from the replying to emails thing. THEN I saw the very last bit of advice about redoing things that I know how to do but didn’t do right the first time. I’m actually fixing up all of my print work before graduation, and there are a LOT of tiny mistakes that I made back when I was less experienced. It’s so literal lmao
That last bit is the part that I’m holding steady in my mind (only after really messing up the blog a few times from trying new things). Good luck editing your paper- that’s such a tedious thing to have to do!
