With the Sun in Libra in the second house, you discover personal power by working with a close partner to build assets. Your central purpose is to learn how to give what you have and accept offerings from others. You build confidence by tapping into inner talents of artistry, music, and beauty. You shine by playing fair with what you share. You’re at a disadvantage because relationships with your best friends and partners directly affect your wallet. Being you means that you value peace.

This is pretty spot on. I have a second house Libra sun which squares Saturn in Capricorn. I am a designer and illustrator. When I was younger I had zero confidence and have struggled with depression throughout life. My salvation is my partner, also involved in the arts who has given me confidence and companionship and our mutual love of art, photography and cinema. Life really has got better with time!

    Thank you for this.

I have a couple of friends with 2nd house Libra suns. They both work in people professions – as counselors and therapists. But both have had many issues with money, especially when working in private practice. Instead of just using their considerable interpersonal skills to help people, they’ve had to focus on selling themselves and their services. Both have some confidence issues, and they go through periods when they feel insufficiently valued by society. But both are shored up by strong, reliable, long-term marriages.

    • Thank you for sharing, Jenny Yates.

I have Scorpio Sun in the 2nd, and Libra Moon in 12th. I work in private practice and have issues with selling myself.

“Your central purpose is to learn how to give what you have and accept offerings from others.”

My relationship with my husband has taught me a lot and been very healing . . . I’m still learning. One of my biggest challenges this lifetime has been to develop and maintain a strong sense of self (in the psycho-spiritual Jungian sense) in relation to others, without thinking I ought to be able to handle everything on my own, yet without expecting the people I love to fill the place in me only Source can fill. By honoring this greater spiritual connection to Source (a connection we all share), my values and ways of giving become more inclusive (Sun, ruler of the 12th in the 2nd). I’ve also learned what it means to have value and to be deserving of love and compassion, independent of money, power or status.

“You build confidence by tapping into inner talents of artistry, music, and beauty.”

Music, dance, nature, and art are like therapy for my soul. Last year I started using collage to create my own oracle cards, which has been an amazing process. Keeping a dream journal and working with archetypes, symbols and synchronicities has also helped me to know myself, once again thanks to my 12th house ruler (Sun), placed in the 2nd.

“You shine by playing fair with what you share.”

I share resources and information, the kind of information most people are unaware of or surprised by.
Thanks for sharing your unique gifts, Michelle. Hope all is well.:)

    • Nice to have you stop by again LB. I hope everything is going well for you too.

    Thank you!

“you discover personal power by working with a close partner to build assets.”

Well, perhaps later on in life, but with the 12th house ruler in the 2nd, I think I’m meant to earn a living on my own until I “build confidence by tapping into inner talents of artistry, music, and beauty.” I’m still working on my book, and am now 8 weeks pregnant with my first child at the age of forty-three. Pluto is transiting my 5th house, and I plan to use this power to tap into my talents.

    • It’s interesting to me that you are pregnant at 43. I’m 41 and in my last years to make a decision about pregnancy too. Pluto is transiting my 5th as well 🙂

      Thank you for sharing.

I didn’t think it would happen. My bf of 14 years kept dragging his feet and then my cycles went from 28 days to 35, then 38, then 39. I went to my doc for another issue, and decided to tell him before I left. “Two years. You’ve got two years.” So, I arrived home and said, “Two years. We’ve got two years.” We started trying the next day, and lo and behold, my next cycle returned to normal! Now I knew when I’d be ovulating and made sure the sperm was waiting in the fallopian tubes BEFORE the egg was released 1 day later.

This is the site I used: http://www.webmd.com/baby/healthtool-ovulation-calculator

        No pressure or anything… 🙂
