Also i love self-learning books and some practical meditations( those that help to slow down my brain and help me to get some mental rest).I am astrologer and Uranus-Neptune conjunction is dominant in my chart(just a LITTLE bit stronger than Venus which squares them both)( not amateur astro., a bit more advanced, but not too advanced). Now, when Uranus moved into Aries and Neptune in Pisces everyone tells me that i changed, that i am unusual and impulsive-action oriented toward my dreams and ideals( expected from Aries impuls and Pisces dream/ideal). My mind is set on achieving goals and pursuing dreams MUCH more than ever before. It’s also fast but focus changed now with transiting Uranus and Neptune.

And i also skip more steps in school now, and classical way of teaching is sooo boring for me.

Friends always said that i had a sixth sense for managing and organising things(although i am virgo sun, not capricorn).They say that i give unusual and creative solutions to any problem in split of a second( another example of uranus/neptune in 3rd house).

Same here Sis, though I was not raised in NY but in another big city in the ‘North” as they would say in the South. I am of very different beliefs from my parents as well. I’m sure my mother questions from time to time if they gave her the right baby at the hospital.lol I had to stay awhile after they released her.

You know, I had never really thought about it much, but I do have a sense of never being able to get close to my extended family because I do tend to view the world very differently from them. I never felt like that around my parents, but around other relatives. I think some of my family believes that I think I am somehow superior to them because of my educational attainment.

Also, I don’t live my life by their rules. Much of my family was raised in the South in super conservative, religious homes and while my parents were raised in such a home, I grew up with greater flexibility and freedom because I was raised in NY. I think some of my family view me as as oddity (and probably with a hint of disdain and pity) because I didn’t follow their path – marriage, family, church involvement and instead focused on pursuing an education. I’m also not really religious, which they also have a problem with.

I actually had one aunt put another family member up to asking me if I was gay because I was just focused on school and didn’t date. LMAO. I had half a mind to take a female friend by this aunt’s house and make sure to make out with her just so my aunt can clutch her obnoxiously self-righteous pearls. No, my family and I will never see eye to eye on much of anything. That’s fine. They can just stay out of my way and I will continue to stay out of theirs.

Girl, I sho nuff hear ya there! ;-) Right now Tr. retro Mars is almost exactly to the minute quincunx my 8th house Mars thereby setting off my natal quincunx between natal Mars and 1st house Uranus/Pluto. What you’ve said here is a life long struggle for me hence the many questions I ask. At this point I’m ready to tell everybody to #$%** off and leave me alone. From another one of your comments, I bet you are too.

I guess all we can do is hang in there. This too shall pass. ( It sounds good anyway)

That’s very sweet of you. Thank you, Stasiastes. Unfortunately, for me, the Jupiter-Uranus influence reflected a huge breaking apart of everything stable in my life. 2011 and early 2012 have been extremely difficult and trying. I’m not having any fun or having any wondrous epiphanies. It’s been hard work, stress, and drudgery. Ho hum. So much for cheery insights, sorry!

In what house(s) would you place the following activities: Twitter, a blog/website, and YouTube?I’d place them in the 3rd house, but, the need to appeal to an audience or have a following would be the 11th house (and pure self-expression, “I don’t care if anyone reads this!” would be the 5th house).

Yes, probably. There’s something about not wanting to be at anyone else’s mercy. Lately I’m really hating having Virgo rising. Maybe it’s Mars retrograde in Virgo. The “service” part of it can be humbling, but it can also feel humiliating, and service can sometimes feel like servitude.

I have my taurus moon trine capricorn mercury to almost the minute. I love to talk about feelings, Writing feelings helps me purge. I feel better when I am moving. I have a fast metabolism. I have to talk about feelings with my mate and writing heartfelt letters for me is very easy. I barely need to edit them once I am done. Spot on Michelle!
