Today Mercury enters Aries as the Independent Thinker and Military Strategist. But on March 15, Mercury stations retrograde one day after we have a Total Lunar Eclipse at 23 Virgo 57′.
Once again, we are mired in Mercurial confusion as Mercury creates yet another mutual reception with Jupiter in Gemini, with both planets in detriment again. We’ve wasted so much time in this maze of bewilderment over the past six months! It seems like every decision is the wrong decision, and people simply do not know what to do. With the South Node in Virgo, critical thinking is at a low point. March 29th will be the lowest point, when Mercury Rx makes a conjunction with Neptune at 29 Pisces 59′, the very last minute of the zodiac. It’s an abyss of confusion.
Venus and Mercury shift to their positions as morning stars within days of each other while Mercury and Neptune pass back and forth like ships on a choppy sea as Neptune phases into Aries by the end of the month for the first time in over 160 years. On April 16 Mercury and Neptune make their first conjunction in Aries bringing completely new energy to mind. This meeting of the Independent Thinker and the Spirit of the Moment is likely to sweep out whatever mental lethargy remains from the Neptune in Pisces hangover.
Mercury turns direct at Venus’s exaltation degree, and then leaves its shadow Aries April 26, which is the same day that Mars, now in Leo, creates an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. The situation is challenging, but Mercury has returned to its station as leader, the problem is that, for the first time in a long time, we are don’t know who that leader will be. Jupiter finally exits Gemini on June 9th, at which time I hope we kick this confusion to the curb.
