Jupiter in Aries Brainstorm
y Hero! Heroic action. There goes my hero. Extraordinary feats. Breathtaking courage. Astounding bravery. Dauntless. Not afraid to run into a burning building to save a baby and a kitten. Dangerous life situations. Inspiring acts of valor. Everybody wants to be an action hero. Superman. Here he comes to save the day, Mighty Mouse is on the way. Daring to be your own action star. Expanding confidence. Expanding courage. Big fights. Heroic battles. Be the hero of your own life. Rescue yourself. Are you standing in a burning building? Get yourself out. Who’s coming to save the day? You are.
Enthusiasm for life returns. Finally, some fire in the sky! Maybe too much fire in the sky. Fireball. Fireworks. Let’s dry out our soggy spirits. Spring has sprung into action. Push yourself. Jump those hurdles. Expand your personal freedom. The luxury of doing things on your own. I’m free to do what I want any old time. Blissfully alone. Single, and loving it. The spark is back. Life feels warmer. You’re bigger than that. Take the high road. Stand up for yourself. Expand your self-definition. Feel a boost of confidence. You’ve been through sh*t. You handled it. You’re stronger now.
People are tired of being cooped up and push back in a big way. A general surge of feeling that you need more autonomy. Fights against regulations and rules. A big rush. In a big hurry. Hey, what’s the rush? Get out of my way! Unlike you, I have things to do! I’m busy! What is the f@*king rush? Fast times. Fast cars. Life in the fast lane. Fast Times at Ridgemont High. The Fast and the Furious. Life speeds up in Jupiter’s house. The need for speed. Speeding tickets galore. Oh no! My brakes are gone! It’s too late to turn back now.
Brain swelling. Um, it seems like Tammy is getting a big head. Hot-headed. Expanding self-interest. Okey dokey, hotshot. Every man for himself. Heat expansion. Surge of fevers. The blood runs so red to my face. Flush. Hot streak. World heat records. Big blast of heat. It’s like an oven in here! Hot-blooded. It’s too darn hot. Fever. Fever pitch. Temperatures are running high. Four-alarm fire. Increase in emergencies. Jumping the gun. Casting fear to the side. I can do this. Getting pumped up. Positive self-talk. I can handle whatever comes my way. A brand-new surge of self-help promotions. I’m brave enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.
The push for leadership. Natural born leaders emerge. Pushy. Pushing people around. Pushing to be first. Lots of enthusiasm at the start. Just because you’re excited, doesn’t mean you get to be a bully. Military increase. Militant. Ready to fight. People trying to incite religion-based aggression. People trying to incite culture-based aggression. Increasing aggression. Swelling fervor. Vigilantism. Enlisting. Taking it upon yourself to exact justice. Putting beliefs into action. Finding your mission. Violent missions. Surge of violence. Dangerous philosophies. Manifestoes. Moral outrage. Fist fights in church. Getting beaten into a bloody pulpit. Firebrand preachers. Marching bands (with Neptune in Pisces). Anthems. Expanding the war effort. Enthusiasm for conflict. Stirring up anger. Stirring up action. War of the Worlds. Soulja boy. Fighting for your religious convictions. Warring life philosophies. Battling over holidays. Battling over culture. Battling over higher education. Battling over travel. Angry travelers. Angry vacationers. Fist fights at the ticket booth.
Expanded sense of ‘I’. Where do I fit in this group? Where does my philosophy fit in the with people around me? What about my vision? A strong inclination for straightforward action. Little tolerance for intricacies. Little patience for negotiations. Do it and do it now! Go big and go by yourself? Giving of yourself. Blood drives. Blood donations. Helping out in emergencies. Volunteering for any emergency program. Making yourself available to be called upon. This energy doesn’t last long so don’t over- invest yourself in short-lived enthusiasms.
What’s your personal mission? What are your core ethics? What do you believe in without the influence of family, friends, or society? What lines won’t you cross? What are your dealbreakers? Have you revised your mission statement recently? Develop your own philosophy of life. A new set of guiding principles. New principles. New principal. New teachers. New guidelines. New Order. New gurus. New way-showers. Find a philosophy that warms your life. Find a philosophy of life that kickstarts your heart. Newly forming concepts and ideas. New schools of thought. Developing a lifestyle that embraces self-reliance. Friendly rivalry. Healthy competition.
DIY education. DIY travel. Just DIY. Rugged outdoorsmen. Going for a hike by yourself. Running on your own. A long journey by yourself. A rise in lone travelers. A rise in solo world travelers. F@!k it, if no one wants to go with me, I’ll just go by myself. Just what you can carry on your person. Just me, myself, and my backpack. Keeping it simple. Busting out after being stir crazy. Coming to life like the tender shoot of a budding plant. Self-protection. Protecting individual rights. Forget the cause. Forget the group. What about individual people?
Have faith in yourself. Believe in yourself. Believe in your ability to be independent. You’re opening to doing things on your own. You’re open to new beginnings. You’re open to a fresh start. You’ve got a new lease on life. It’s time to update your philosophy of life. It’s time for some new mottos to live by. The old sayings don’t cut it anymore. The old belief system is outworn. Major boredom. I am sooooo bored. There’s nothing to do. We’re beginning a whole new cycle of growth and expansion, where are you going to start first?
You’ve got to kick fear to the side, because the payoff is huge.

I actually look for things to smile about. If I’m going to a concert later that night and I start to feel in a bad mood, I think about the wonderful melodies I’ll be hearing later. I make a conscious effort to be positive. And if you want the most joie de vivre in your life, that’s what you must do as well. Negative thoughts will pop into your head, as they do to me and everybody. But why give in to those thoughts and allow your mood to be dragged downward? My suggestion is to fight off the temptation to go negative and work at being positive. Try it out and see what happens. I’m willing to bet you find the experience worth repeating again and again.

Confronting our feelings and giving them appropriate expression always takes strength, not weakness. It takes strength to acknowledge our anger, and sometimes more strength yet to curb the aggressive urges anger may bring and to channel them into nonviolent outlets. It takes strength to face our sadness and to grieve and to let our grief and our anger flow in tears when they need to. It takes strength to talk about our feelings and to reach out for help and comfort when we need it.
