Wikipedia says Andrew Zimmern was born on July 4, 1961 in New York, New York. Depending on what time of day he was born, he has a biquintile or sesquiquadrate between the Moon and Uranus (or no aspect at all- say it isn’t so!) His Moon can be in Pisces or Aries, but it’s most likely in Aries. You’d have to be brave to eat the things he eats

Almost every single one of those key phrases describes me, and I have Moon in Virgo in 3rd semisquare Uranus in Libra in 4th.
Normally I don't pay any attention to semisquares, but this aspect has an orb of 15 minutes, making it my second closest aspect by orb (second only to Saturn trine Uranus with a 14 minute orb) and given those key phrases and my personality, I'm gonna say the semisquare, at least when allowed a small orb, really does work!
I also have moon in Virgo in 3rd house, but my uranus is trining my moon
I wish there was more in-depth info on semisquares and sesquiquadrates, and even semisextiles. They seem to get glossed over. It's like, “well, they're like the square but less potent.” That's it? What does that mean? Or, more to the point, what does that feel like?
I think I wrote many versions of nearly the same thing, but I think that finding the right way to say something can trigger an aha! moment.
If you look at Rudhyar`s chart,he had Moon square Uranus and felt a strong need to abandon the old european identity which he did when uranus was conjunct his moon in 1917

Dr J Lee Lehman devoted a whole chapter to the semisextile (in the context of the inconjunct, a subcategory of which the semisextile is) in her awesome book “Classical Astrology for Modern Living.”
Hm. I have Moon quincunx Uranus – and the moon is in Aquarius at that. Nothing terribly bizarre about my eating habits, but much of the rest of what you wrote fits me. I was close with my mother, but she was pretty unusual herself.

I've never taken “less potent” to mean a wide orb. When I wrote “Sesquiquadrates, WTF” a while ago, I read through a bunch of authors and quite a few seemed to think that they, and the semisquare, are “minor” aspects and therefore unimportant.
It seems to me that many astrologers drag the SSQ and SQ out of the closet when they're looking for an explanation to something they can't explain. That being said, Julie Demboski, of Julie Demboski's Astrology, uses them regularly in her daily transit forecasts.
Well, they're possibilities. Not every Moon/Uranus type likes to eat weird food

I went to check my mother's chart after your question. In fact she did have Uranus opposite her Moon! Three planets in Aquarius as well. Explains a lot…

Moon/Uranus is definitely a routine breaker. With the sextile you are probably less disruptive in the way you break routines than someone with the square might be.
It’s true, I try not to be disruptive when I decide to make a change.
It doesn’t always work that way.:-)

but I try to be respectful about it if it’s really important.
my 11th house moon in scorpio is in conjuction with the uranus, and it’s the only aspect it has.
both my parents are aquarius, so my childhood environment was quite suitable for this apsect.
(also, there is a sextile between 9th house north node in virgo and the 3rd house south node in
pisces, and the moon, but I don’t know if this counts. uranus only has a sextile with the saturn)

I’m moon trine uranus and hubby is moon opposition uranus this is us to a “T”.I definitely feel much better around freaks. I love the thought of living elsewhere in space and time. The hubby does not like to be fenced in by family dramas. We both prefer weirdness over tradition and are more family with friends than blood relatives. I am known for doing creative things with spices and foods.

Moon uranus makes one happy with astrology.This is true but my capricorn sun ,who likes to appear normal and hates abnormality doesnt feel confortable in his identity with this.
Yet capricorn isnt in bad aspect with the signs where Uaranus and Moon are virgo and Pisces.
So i assume any planet in aspect to Uranus gets the disapproval from a capricorn sun.

The discomfort might be more from the opposition between the Moon and Uranus than the trine between the Sun and Uranus.
It`s not a trine Uranus is at 0 of virgo suna at 18 capricorn

i have gemini rising. mercury is conjunct saturn in aquarius in h9, MC is also in aquarius,and saturn also rules my capricorn sun, so MC,Sun and ascendant seem to be linked as well as h5,due to having virgo there

I have Uranus in 5th conjunct S.Node Sag in Sextile with my IC Moon in Libra.Falling in love via internet (it happened 2 times till now, and many relationships with women started and failed via net). I found out that the falling in love is almost in a second. I become strongly attached and obsessed with that particular girl. It is related to my self-image and self-worth. Somehow, through discussion (Venus in Sag) this girl is fulfilling my needs of being with someone with whom I can be myself, with whom I can express my self naturally and spontaneously.
I asked my self many times why is this happening via internet and I haven’t found the answer.
In live I’m the same as I’m via internet. I’m good looking and very communicative. But I guess the unpredictability of Uranus is hiding some lesson here of which I’m not aware of at the moment.
With Saturn also in 5th, the lesson is maybe that the internet is not a Reality, it is very much of an Illusion, and I can’t expect to find something meaningful through it, especially if I see that the things are not going well from their beginning (With Pluto ruling my 5th I’m very stubborn in my desires).
