Are you really that bored? What are we really talking about here? Read between the lines. Take an interest in what you’re staying. If you’re not interested in what you’re saying, no one else will be either.

Quit the small talk. Get interested in what is being said, that’s not being said. Watch your tone! It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. What are you saying, exactly? What are you hinting at?
